New QNX Training: QNX Toolkit for VS Code

The QNX Everywhere initiative isn't just about free QNX licenses, sample code, or open-source porting. We're al so leaning heavily into our cache of instructor-led training content to digitize it into free online QNX courses!

Starting this week, our team here at QNX is kicking off a long pipeline of new training course releases that will stretch well into 2026. Today, we're proud to announce the first of many new free courses: all about the QNX Toolkit for VS Code.

Course Summary

This course provides a quick introduction to editing, compiling, running, and debugging QNX applications and targets from Visual Studio Code with the QNX Toolkit.

The QNX Toolkit is an extension for Visual Studio Code that integrates the QNX Software Development Platform (SDP) into the VS Code IDE. It provides tools for developing, debugging, and managing QNX-based projects, enabling you to work efficiently with QNX targets.
